Italian ball-game simulation with similarities to the French pétanque or lawn bowls. The game starts with the smaller 'jack' ball at a random position in the play field. The players are divided into two teams and on their turn must throw a ball by giving a velocity and angle. When all balls are thrown the team whose ball is closest to the jack scores points. Ball can also hit each other and knock each other away. When this happens a bell is rung. The DEC BASIC version of the game is fully text-based and prints the coordinates of each ball are shown, but the game allows for showing a graphical overview when hooked up to a Tektronix 4006-1 video terminal.
Released in July 1977 as a type-in program in Creative Computing Vol.3 No.4.
