Hexapawn © 1975 Hewlett-Packard.
This version of Hexapawn is played against an HP programmable Calculator. The game pits two players with each three pawns against each other. The pawns adhere to the rules of chess. The game has no visuals, instead the calculator shows his moves in a number notation. It's up the the player to keep a mental or written map of the game's state. The AI does use cybernetics to learn from its mistakes like other versions of the game.
