Alto Trek

A Star Trek variant taking full advantage of the power of the Xerox Alto. The game divides the screen into multiple segments showing both the current quadrant, sector and various stats such as energy and velocity of the Enterprise. The game is mouse controlled with easy to use buttons on the screen to perform actions such as firing phasers or torpedoes.

The biggest difference from most Star Trek variants is that this version is a multiplayer game. Players choose to become a Klingon, Romulan or Terran when joining the game. The goal is to destroy the other races and their starbases. The different races have different characteristics for their weapons and ships such as slow turning Romulans and weak acceleration for Klingons.
