City Connection for Famicom was released on September 27, 1985 in Japan.
It use some circuitry to allow 16 KB of CHR ROM, switching between two 8 KB banks. This is the first Famicom game to use hardware other than ROMs (not counting Family BASIC, as Family BASIC isn't a game). Mappers were born.
