Double Dragon II - The Revenge for PC-Engine CD was released on March 12, 1993 in Japan.

This version of the game features the same ending as the Nintendo Famicom version, "Double Dragon II - The Revenge [Model TJC-W2]", except that on the PC-Engine CD, you must complete the game on the hardest setting in order to see it.
