Rancho © 1977 Williams.
Model Number : 469
Rancho was the last game that Harry Williams designed for this manufacturer, the company that he founded in 1945.
1,229 units were produced.
The test run of this game was done in a painted wood cabinet but was changed to a metal cabinet during the production run. This was done because Williams' management was concerned that future solid state games would be light enough to steal if done in wood. However, steel cabinets proved difficult and expensive, and the idea was dropped.
