Sonic Gems Collection for GameCube was released on September 30, 2005 in Europe.
The Japanese version features the entire "Bare Knuckle" (known as "Streets of Rage" in Europe) trilogy for the Mega Drive as a bonus. In this export version, these were removed so that the ESRB rating could be lowered. The Japanese version also included "Bonanza Bros." for the Mega Drive, but that was removed from this export version as well.
Tails' Skypatrol for the Game Gear was originally released exclusively in Japan.
