Sonic Mega Collection Plus for XBOX was released on November 2, 2004 in North America. It was then released in 2005 as one half of a 2-in-1 Platinum Family Hits combo pack [Model SKU-64608] ("Super Monkey Ball Deluxe" was the other half).
Sonic Mega Collection Plus was then re-released alone in 2006 as a Platinum Family Hits edition.
"Sonic Drift" for Game Gear was originally released exclusively in Japan.
